Welcome to Clocking Sweat. By accessing or using our website located at clockingsweat.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Description of Service

Clocking Sweat provides a self-service utility for synchronizing workout activity data from a user's authenticated Strava account to a user's authenticated Google Calendar. This Service operates autonomously in the background via webhooks once configured by the user.

2. Third-Party Services and Trademarks

Our Service interacts directly with the Google Calendar API and the Strava API. By using our Service, you also agree to be bound by the Google Terms of Service and Strava Terms of Service.

Clocking Sweat is an independent application entirely separate from Strava, Inc. and Google LLC. The Strava name, the Strava logo, the "Powered by Strava" mark, and Google Calendar are registered trademarks of their respective owners. Their inclusion in this Service does not imply endorsement.

3. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

By using the Service, you agree that you will not:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
Attempt to interfere with or compromise the system integrity or security of the Service.
Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with the Service's APIs.
Impel the Service to exceed the rate limits established by the Google Calendar and Strava APIs.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE.

We are entirely beholden to the uptime and availability of the Strava and Google Calendar APIs. If either of those APIs experiences an outage, our Service will also be degraded.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CLOCKING SWEAT OR ITS CREATORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS SERVICE.

Because our Service has write-access to your Google Calendar, you explicitly agree that we are not liable for any deletion, corruption, mis-formatting, or duplication of calendar events that may occur due to synchronization bugs, API errors, or misuse of the Service.

6. User Data Deletion

You may terminate this agreement at any time by utilizing the "Disconnect all services" function within the application dashboard. This action will permanently delete your authentication tokens and user profile from our servers.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will indicate the date of the last revision at the top of this page.
